WHAT WE DO
Unlock the collaborative potential of Aerospace and Energy SMEs leveraged on Biotechnology, ICT and Medical Devices sectors for the generation of innovative solutions that enhance patient-centred personalized care.
THREE LARGE EU EVENTS
Cross4Health will organize 3 large events that will focus on "Aerospace-Health" and "Energy-Health" cross-domain collaboration and will contribute to connect SMEs from sectors that do not spontaneously meet with Health-related SMEs from sectors such as ICT, BIO and Medical Devices. These events will serve as public display of success stories, fostering team creation and technological display, among others. They are expected to take place in Toulouse, Düsseldorf and Gothenburg.
TWO OPEN CALLS FOR PROJECT IDEAS
Concurring with the two first large EU events, Cross4Health will organize 2 Open Calls for projects elaborated by teams that are led by an SME, that include at least one member from the Aerospace or Energy sectors and other actors from Health related domains.
Monetary and non-monetary support will be provided to award around 60 projects that better address the call challenges. The exact number of accelerated projects will depend on the number of team members per project, that can be from 2 to 5. Each awarded SME will receive direct cash funding of up to 25,000€ and up to 30,000€ in innovations services and vouchers provided by Cross4Health Consortium members and by external third parties.
TWO HACKATHONS
Cross4Health will also organize 2 Hackathons, that will consist of a competition of 1 or 2 days where skilled cross-cultural teams will address a challenge with the objective of delivering a Software or Hardware solution. At each Hackathon, there will be 3 cash prizes.
TWO SME-UNIVERSITY STUDENTS COMPETITIONS
The SMEs-UnivStudent competitions are expected to deliver a large impact in human capital building, create ties for future transfer of highly prepared and motivated students to deliver innovations in SMEs and provide students with additional cross-sectoral capabilities of extreme value in their very early professional career.
